BTSync Plugin for FreeNAS Install
The Plan
I found a Tutorial on the Bittorrent blog. It seems easy enough to follow.
The Software/Harware
I already have my FreeNAS server up and running with a few plugins configured. I am not starting from scratch.
- FreeNAS Server
- BTSync plugin
- PC to connect to FreeNAS box Web UI
The Result
I attempted to follow this tutorial, but I keep getting a fail to start plugin error. I will have to try again or wait for a video tutorial, those seem to work better for me, until I try again. For now, no BTSync on my FreeNAS box.
The Follow Up
I figured out my issue, there was a conflict with the assigned IP address for the VM, BTSync jail. It works exactly as described.
